I don’t do most of the things that business gurus would tell you are required to get clients.
I don’t post on social media every day. I don’t use a content calendar or batch my content. I no longer send cold DMs.
I was told not to expect to get clients from my podcast before I had at least 1,000 downloads per episode. Most of my clients in the past year have come from my podcast, which averages about 100 downloads per episode.
In fact, multiple people have applied to work with me immediately after finding my podcast.
One of my clients came from TikTok when I had 50 followers and posted maybe once a week.
I had my first $10k+ month with just 750 followers on Instagram.
Here's what I know for sure:
